He holds a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School and Management Degree from Cornell University USA. He is a Fellow of the International Visitors Leadership Program of the US Government & a Law Graduate with over 34 years of experience in leadership roles spread across various sectors in Corporates.
Dr. Mehta is a Senior Industry Advisor, C-suite relationship builder and strategic thinker. He has been instrumental in Trade Policy, Bilateral & Multilateral engagements, two-way investment, and Trade, facilitating the Indian industry to expand its global footprint through a range of specialized services. He is specialized in Policy Advocacy and Government Affairs at Federal, State, and Local Government levels while handling Industry Chamber relations in coordination with industry leaders and policymakers. He has mounted and led international business delegations to various countries for strategic partnerships and investments.
Dr. Mehta has represented Indian Industry in many Government and Parliamentary Committees and has been instrumental in addressing various policy-related issues in Infrastructure, MSMEs, Affordable Housing, Water, Urban Development, Power, Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas, and Logistic Sectors. He is also impaneled as a distinguished faculty by ISTM (Institute of Secretariat Training and Management), a Central Training Institute for civil service officers, directly managed by the Department of Personnel and Training, under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India.
He has written extensively on important matters concerning trade, commerce, and Industry. His publications include six books, several research papers, and articles in many journals of repute, Leading National and International Magazines and Newspapers like Hindustan Times, Times of India ,and Financial Express. He is a frequent speaker in Electronic and Print Media including participating in International Forums.
